01 — Type FundamentalsTypography · Editorial · Layout
Created for my Typography I course, this booklet explored typography through a series of layout, typeface, and graphic constraints. The project took me through the full design process, from initial sketches and experimentation to digital execution and final production, with an emphasis on hierarchy, composition, and visual consistency.

02 — Conceptual ImageryConceptual Design · Image-making · Social Commentary
This project explored how graphic imagery can communicate complex social issues through visual metaphor. Inspired by my personal connection to immigration, I created a composition centered on the idea of the “alien” pursuing the American Dream, using symbolism and digital image-making to communicate themes of identity, belonging, and displacement.

03 — Design History JournalEditorial · Research · Typography
This digital journal explores major periods in design history through a collection of editorial spreads. I combined research, typography, imagery, and layout to communicate the defining characteristics and influential figures of each era while developing a cohesive visual system across the journal.
04 — Graphic TranslationPhotoshop · Illustrator · Digital Image-making
This project explored the process of translating an existing image into a new digital graphic. Using Photoshop and Illustrator, I experimented with shape, form, texture, and composition to reinterpret the original image while developing my foundational skills in digital image-making and Adobe Creative Suite.

My approach to graphic design is rooted in curiosity—exploring how typography, imagery, composition, and visual systems can transform an idea into something tangible. As a graphic design student, I am building my practice through experimentation across editorial design, typography, digital image-making, and visual storytelling.
The work featured here represents my ongoing development as a designer. Each project has allowed me to experiment with different visual languages and processes, from initial research and sketching to digital execution and final presentation.
